Green key certification.
Situation
Obtaining green key certification can have major advantages for a hotel. So far, Jill Jandal has paid little attention to this. Now, with the new strategic plan, is a good time to see if the hotel can join in. So far, the hotel has not really studied the requirements for a green key. Sustainability was barely on the agenda of the previous management.
Goal
Jill Jandal want to have enough information to decide whether trying to get the Green Key awarded is feasible, and in the long run, good for the business.
Task, deliverable
Write a report explaining:
- What the most important steps are the hotel should take to acquire the certificate.
- What would be the most important effects on business operations?
- Give an estimate of the concrete costs involved.
- What would the Green key bring in concrete positive, measurable effects to the hotel?
- What would the Green key bring in concrete positive, measurable effects towards the customers?
