Paying in the restaurant
Handing your guests an invoice, or 'the bill', is hardly ever a pleasant moment, whether it is in the restaurant bar or at the end of the stay at the reception. Or, even when sent by e-mail to a company. Though, we have to realize this is an important touchpoint too.
There are different ways of making this moment 'more pleasant' or even an upsell moment at the very end of a stay.
You could this as marketing / communication. There is a number of 'options' available in the market, like:
- Use the software in your register to write 'a message' on the invoice.
- Make the presentation of the invoice a special moment.
- Give something more special with the bill special besides just some candy.
