This page is maybe 'boring' but we think it is important that you read how the rights with regard to all aspects of the simulation are organized. By participating, you agree to this. Especially that you realize that all content is stored on the platform and elsewhere for further use. Please read the total of this page. Unfortunately you cannot participate in the simulation without accepting. So by participating you accept the rules below. The points below all reflect to both teams and coaches participating in the simulation.
This website is intended to serve general information purposes on this related to the management simulation Emerald Forest Hotel only. The information provided on this website is not intended to be true or to represent an existing company in any way. All posts express the views of the authors and do not represent the views of the Building team. The information on this website is monitored with continuous care and attention by the building team. However, we cannot give any warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information on this website. The Building team is under no circumstances liable for damages of whatever nature, in anyway resulting from the use of this platform or resulting from or related to the use of content presented on or made available through this website or damages resulting from the non-availability of this website.

As the total of the simulation is an on-going process and there is hundreds of people working in this platform real time it is hard to oversee all changes and all impact. All postings are, for that matter, the individual responsibility of the authors or posters of that specific piece of data. By participating in the simulation Emerald Forest all participants, coaches and others involved accept the following. By posting the content you explicitly state that you have the IP rights of the posted content. For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos, videos, texts, slogan, names etc. (IP content), you specifically grant the building team of Emerald Forest the permission a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any of this IP content that you post on or in connection with Emerald Forest (IP license).
You state not to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or which otherwise breaches any law.
The Building team of the Emerald Forest have the sole right to re-use adapt and change any content related to the Emerald Forest at any time or moment according to their insights. We expect that participants will treat each other with respect. We will delete materials that do not live up to these rules and the expectation of the Building Team.
Using the simulation should be instructive and fun, and always has been in all of the competitions played. Just remember that almost anything you do, say or post will be open to the world due to the fact that most activities are done on the internet and/or social media. Just keep that in mind: this is not an an exclusive issue tot the game but also a general technical issue on the internet.
- Portrait rights or Personality rights
On participating in the simulation Emerald Forest Hotel you accept that pictures and videos of you will be made in you role as participants or coach in the simulation. All of this material may be used for purposes related to the project Emerald Forest Hotel without limitations on a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free basis (see cases on this .
Notwithstanding the foregoing, anyone who has an objection to any part of the content as it is on the platform is encouraged to contact us by sending an e-mail to the Building team (mail us) and request for removal. We have the ability to remove content when agreeing on the arguments and we will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame, allowing for the manual nature of the removal process. We reserve the right to remove any post without providing a reason.
Waiver online activity
Given that all posting of content appears in real-time, it is impossible for the building team to review all posts before they become publicly readable. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any posted material. The total of the project is a simulation used in educational/training sessions. None of the content is meant to reflect the real-life situation. The building team does actively monitor posts, but is not responsible for the content of any of the content.
