Chose a new name
On choosing a new name for the Emerald Forest Hotel, keep in mind a few things as the new name for your hotel is a strategic choice and not changeable after the first year played.
Furthermore, think of:
- Does it match with your strategy?
- How will old customers react on this?
- Does it match with your target groups?
- Does it mean anything in your language and in English?
- Is it pronounceable in English?
- Check the new name on the internet. What is it associated with?
- Maybe check search volumes in for instance Google.
- Beware of legal rights in choosing a name ((like characters, persons, films, TV-programs etc.), if so: how to handle this?
- Changing a name is very expensive and nearly impossible.
- Does it fit in with logo and slogan?
Be sure to fill your name out on your teampage of course, but also in the secure section on your teamsheet!
