Poor maintenance

The maintenance of the hotel is rather poor. During the last year, only the minimum of the required maintenance has been done, so some additional maintenance is advisory. There is a cost group called 'depreciation costs of existing assets', but these costs just are not enough to keep up the standard. To really solve these issues, next to the additional maintenance, some new investments are needed. The costs of equipment and furniture buy in hospitality are totally different from what you would buy privately (at the Ikea): realise that. There is standards of safety, usability, hard-wearing, cleaning and many other reasons to buy professional material.
