External and internal analysis, SWOT
When assessing the situation of your hotel, it is important to make an inventory of all relevant elements.
Situation
You have just taken over and planned a strategy. You might tweak your strategy a bit when you have analysed the external and internal situation. There is no clear overview of the position your hotel is in.
Goal
Make an overview of the situation internal and external so that you can adapt your strategy a bit and have more foundation to make operational decisions in the years to come. You will do so in a SWOT.
Task, deliverable
Make an overview in a chosen structure that shows the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, found in a SWOT analysis which you will make. Be sure to have reliable real external sources on the situation in hospitality in the Netherlands. And, use for internal situations the files in Hotel info pages: check for pages your think are relevant.
