The portfolio makes the learning progress of students in a specific area visible and is created by students on their own responsibility. In the portfolio, all findings and results of the management simulation should be summarized in written form.
Written report: possible Structure
- 1. Introduction, aim and relevance
- 2. Expectations (for the simulation) of each team member individually
- 3. Important elements of the main part:
a. Space, place and locality of the location (touristic facts) (assignment Year 0)
b. Business Plan (assignment Year 0)
c. Negotiations with Investors (assignment Year 0)
d. Analysis of the market and competitors (assignment Year 1)
e. Marketing Plan and Measures (assignments Year 2 and Year 3)
f. Storytelling (assignments Year 2 and Year 3)
g. Making and Explaining Management Decisions (Business assignments)
h. Using Expert Input (assignments Year 2 and Year 3)
- 4. Reflection (after the simulation) of each team member individually
a. Were your expectations for the simulation met? Which elements did you like, which did you not like? Why?
b. Which advantages and disadvantages did you experience working with students from different subjects, levels (Bachelor/Master) and countries?

Scope: 15 written pages per student (incl. figures) + D&E forms as appendix.
You have already created the majority of your portfolio report. You will see a corresponding of the assignments from Year 0-3. It is important for the report that the report contains a consistent and logical structure. For example, pay attention to the language, the layout or the citation and do not forget your calculation etc.
