In the game you have a number of possibilities to influence your hotel.
In the Game you have a number of possibilities to influence your hotel:
* The [[Team file]] which you have a private login link to. In this file you present your strategy and the links to your web site and social media. In this file you also do all your [[decisions]] and [[explanations]].
* tab [[Year 0]] where you start your strategic choices, introduce your hotel, strategy, your target groups etc;
* The social media, websites etc. (on the first page of your Team file there should be links to all your social media and website(s) used)
* tab [[Year 1-2-3-4]] where you, after Year 0 (strategic choices), make your decisions and give [[explanations]] each year;
* Your [[Team finances]] spreadsheet: only accessible with your private link via your Team file, any hotel has its own. In this file each hotel can follow:
* tab [[dashboard]] where you can find an overview of the most important financial results;
** tab [[dashboard]] where you can find the most important elements per round is a dashboard
* tab [[results]] where you find an operating review and other details on results and costs after each year;
** tab [[results]] where your hotel finds its results after each year, only after releasing by your coach.
* The social media, websites etc. when used in your competition;
* Other live actions of your team: sometimes required, like the Trade Fair but maybe also at your own initiative.

This example is the Team finances of a team with all of the years filled out. Of course if you start you will only see the prologue, (year 00), the history, filled out with decisions from the past.

You also fill out the decisions in numbers (euros) in your Team file, above the explanations as a back-up please do not forget. So the [[decisions]] are to be filled out in the Team finances (tab decisions) AND in the Team file. Make things smart, make calculations and refrain from general remarks like 'we think this is interesting 'a lower price bring more customers'. Give benchmarks and sources, real links. Be sure to calculate with the new price to prove that if the new, lower (or higher) price works out, this will rise the [[occupancy rate]] and so the revenues. In the end this will bring more profit because.... and calculate this. <br>

All your team members can work in the same Team file all of the years (even at the same moment). All you do is saved automatically all the time in this document there is no ''save button'' :-). You can easily put links and pictures (just be sure that they are not too much mb's!) in the file, do so if it contributes to your explanations.  


If a year has passed, leave that section with explanations in: do ''not'' change it anymore and jump to next year. All of the years the questions asked are the same. Please put in (hyper)links to sources and for instance social media. The explanations will look somewhat like the picture underneath. Keep in mind that it might look a bit different in your competition.

What can you do?
